Luna Volcán, Adventure SPA - formerly Luna Runtún

Comfortable, gorgeous, great food, and such helpful staff. It was one of the most beautiful and magical hotel experiences my family and I have had. Incredible value for the price, and I hope we can return one day. I can't recommend it enough.

The resort grows all its own produce, and the restaurant meals were fresh and full of flavor. Our room on the cliffside was cozy and comfortable, with sweeping views that made every sunrise and sunset unforgettable. From there, the mountains, terraces, and Baños below looked breathtaking. The service was outstanding, and every staff member went above and beyond to welcome us. The natural hot springs, cool mountain air, and scenery made for a wonderfully relaxing stay at Luna Volcán, Adventure SPA, high in the cloud forest. Peaceful, scenic, and full of heart. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ecuador.

The views were even better than the beautiful property, and I was in complete awe of the hotel. My large, lovely room had everything I needed, even slippers. The spa was relaxing, and I loved the steam bath. The food was excellent, and I also have to mention the multiple thermal pools. Everything felt perfect, like being on top of the world.

The staff were always welcoming and helpful, going out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. My room looked exactly like the website photos. The gardens were beautiful, with amazing views of Baños and across the valley. The food was excellent quality, with incredible variety and huge portions, though the black tea tasted like milky water. The room heating couldn't keep up with the cold nights, so I needed several blankets. The shower's hot water worked, but the sink never got warm.
