We found everything we needed here: a full kitchen, private shower, hammocks, and quiet away from the city. Swimming was fantastic, with no rip tide or harsh conditions on this beach that I encountered. The hosts were gracious and friendly, and the rooms and property felt comfortable and relaxed. The craftsmanship and artistic touches were amazing, with real attention to detail. Booking was easy and the directions were clear. From the moment you arrive, the world seems to slow down. It's close enough to go into town by car or taxi for dinner or a visit. You have to try dinner at Bambu at least once! They only take cash, so bring enough for your booking and a little extra. You might not want to leave.

The hosts were wonderful and very helpful, and the peaceful grounds were beautifully kept. We stayed four nights and had a great time throughout. The walk to Canoa's main beach was just right for a relaxing stroll. Thank you, guys. Marek and Alicja

I planned on staying three days and ended up there for three weeks. The hosts were the loveliest, friendliest people, and the food, gorgeous dogs, and happy feel all made it hard to leave. The beach is glorious, and I loved falling asleep to the Pacific and waking up to jump straight into the ocean. It's secluded without feeling too remote, with a special vibe. My last stop after a year of travelling, and now it has a special place in my heart. Just go.

Canoa is about 20 minutes away, close enough to walk to but far enough that you don't hear the town noise. The beach is just steps from the really nice cabins, and there are long walks along the ocean. My wife and I stayed a week, and this was exactly what we wanted for a relaxed beach vacation. The staff were attentive and respectful. You won't find another place like this in Ecuador.

A beautiful house right on the beach, with a stunning view. If you want to watch the sun go down while relaxing in a hammock, this is the place. Clean, beautiful, and a must-do.
