I’ve stayed here on three of my four trips to Cuenca. The rooms are cozy and well looked after, and the hostel has a nature view with the river just steps away. It’s also well placed, about six blocks from the city center. Modern amenities could be better, especially the lack of credit card and contactless payment options.

I really liked the little terrace, and the location is hard to beat, right by the river and near points of interest. The rooms aren’t luxurious, which seems fair for the price. My one complaint is that many rooms don’t have windows. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it if you want an affordable hostel in a convenient spot.

Waking up to the river was the best part of this simple, functional hostel. It has a river view and two terraces that we made use of several times. The location is excellent, and the price is reasonable if you’re after somewhere basic.

Being right in the heart of the historic center makes it easy to walk around the city's most touristy spots. It’s a well located place to take a break and feel comfortable and safe, the best place in Cuenca for that.
