It's okay, and the place is clean with WiFi. Having a parking lot is a plus if you've got a car. The downside is they only accept cash, no credit cards.

The breakfast serving was tiny, and customer service could use more attention to detail. The room and bathroom were clean, though, with hot water at both the sink and shower. Calderón Park is about a five-minute walk away.

Being close to Cuenca’s downtown, cathedral, park, and commercial area was the main plus. The rest was frustrating: Wi-Fi barely worked and became useless when many guests arrived. Breakfast took a long time, with no choices, and the service wasn’t helpful or friendly. The owner or manager was harsh when I tried to talk through a complaint that could have been handled better in conversation. It’s a budget hotel with serious issues, and honestly, I wouldn’t come back.
