Unless being close to the airport is what you need, there's no point staying here. It's only a 5-7 minute walk to the check-in counter, and that's the hotel's one advantage. Outside the windows is a bus station where buses sit with their engines running until late at night. There's exhaust to breathe, plus noise, honking, and loud conversations between drivers. The hotel has no air conditioning or hot water, and the Wi-Fi is weak. Apart from the airport location, everything else is a downside.

A basic but clean place for a layover, and the location is perfect. I paid 25 USD for a simple room with a double bed and a big fan. I checked in at 2am after using the passageway for the 10m walk from the airport. There was no breakfast, though there's a small bar next door. The shower was cold, but in that heat it was perfect! The bus station next door makes it a bit noisy, but with all the window panes shut, it was bearable.

The room was large and decently maintained, and it's perfect for a short stay. The hostel is incredibly close to the airport, and provides Wi-Fi, air conditioning, shampoo, and soap. There were no towels in the room, and there was no hot water at night or in the morning. Street noise was heavy, with a bus depot right beside the hostel.

The people there were really nice, and the place was very clean when we arrived. The location is excellent, and the air conditioning is a must in Guayaquil. The beds were good enough for a restful night, with no strange or loud noises. It didn't look great, though, the light was dim and there was a crack in a window. I'd recommend it for an overnight stay, but I'm not sure I'd stay more than two nights in a row.
