The rooms are in poor condition and overpriced, and they don't even have a lamp. My passport was lying on the table when the AC leaked all over it. The whole passport got wet, but they refused to help or compensate me and tried to blame me instead. The customer service was horrible. I wanted to escalate the matter but had to catch a bus.

The double rooms have plenty of space, and the single rooms are spacious enough for one person. The facilities were clean, and the service was very good, friendly, courteous and respectful. The prices seem fair for the quality of service.

The staff try hard to look after guests, but the lack of room for a good restaurant holds them back. Vendors also take over public space, with little help from the municipality. At night the area can feel somewhat dangerous because there's not enough police control. Municipal action is needed to bring in more guests.

The room had air-conditioning and a TV with Netflix, and it was quiet at night, so I slept well. The place is clean and the staff provide excellent service. It's in a large, easy-to-reach market, only a short walk from downtown Machala.
