Enid at reception greeted us with a smile and arranged everything we wanted to do, including a bird tour, night tour, tubing, and transportation for our whole Ecuador trip. We had only two days in Mindo, but she fit it all to our schedule. The hotel is right by the river, and across the street is the tubing experience, so it’s very convenient. Our room jacuzzi was lovely, though it takes two hours to fill, so start it when you check in. We also really liked the food, especially the Hawaiian chicken and chocolate lava cake. It was the only place I stayed in Mindo, but it’s hard to imagine a better one.

I’ve traveled to plenty of places, and this was one of my best stays. We had a room facing the river with a fire pit, and it made for a really unique, enjoyable experience at great value. The location was excellent, just a short walk from town. Mindo itself was lovely, with lots of activities and nice restaurants, and it felt very safe.

The Deluxe Suite was huge, and having a jacuzzi in the room was a lovely touch. We ate delicious meals at the open restaurant, with fantastic views of the river. Saguamby’s riverside setting was so peaceful, especially the seating area by the water. A wonderful place to unwind in Mindo.

We picked the river-view room because it was so spacious. Breakfast was included and freshly prepared, and the place felt pleasant and romantic. It’s only a couple of blocks from the town center. The jacuzzi takes a long time to fill, so turn on the faucet as soon as you arrive.

The room was amazing, clean, and practically right on the river, with a great view and a jacuzzi. At breakfast in the restaurant, you can watch the birds. It was my most beautiful experience in Mindo.
