At the price, it might be okay, but the grounds need work. They’re weedy and poorly maintained, and I expected tropical gardens. Instead, the place reminded me of a mechanic’s parking lot. It didn’t feel like what you’d expect from a Wyndham resort.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel sits at the far end of the beach, close enough to walk into town in a few minutes, but far enough from the loud rave music that plays constantly in the center. From our large balcony we could watch some really good surfing less than 100 feet away. The room was clean and laid out well, the food was decent, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. The pool was refreshing and cleaned every day, and the grounds were well kept. I’d highly recommend it.

The rooms were great, the people were sweet, and we had an amazing stay. I spent a few nights there and got married on the beach. It was the most special day of my husband’s and my life, and the food was incredible. We had a ceviche bar at the wedding, and it was the best ceviche I’ve ever had. I’d rate the experience 4 out of 5 because the rooms had no phones to contact the front desk, which was super inconvenient for newlyweds.

Everything was good until an employee used my credit card for several purchases totaling over $1,000. I spoke with the GM, who said he’d investigate, but then never replied, either on his own or when I tried contacting him. Be extremely cautious about staying here.

The suite was bigger than we’d expected and worked perfectly for us with a baby. It’s a beautiful setting, with friendly staff and nice amenities. We’ve already planned another trip back.
