There's a great ocean and sunset view, but the accommodation itself is old, basic, and only relatively clean. I didn't use the A/C because it was so loud that it would have woken up everyone in the neighboring rooms. If you want budget lodging about a 10-minute walk outside Montanita and its noisy nightlife, it's an option to consider.

I was there just one night. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. At $30 a night it seemed a bit expensive, though I got the impression the price might be negotiable for a longer stay.

The staff were incredibly attentive, and the rooms were clean and cozy. A lovely place for a family trip, with several beautiful beaches nearby.

The location is good and the place itself is nice, but the service was terrible. Our towels were dirty and stained, the air conditioning wasn't working, and we left hoping they'd fix it. Honestly, the hotel management is awful.
