The common area is lovely, with a view of the garden, and they have parking too. The owner’s family were so kind and helpful. He’s a chef and a guide, and the dinner and breakfast were muy delicioso! You can join him for a local tour if you have time. They even put a hot-water bottle in our bed at night, which kept us cozy. The Hostal is in San Pablo.

The Green House is handy for visiting Condor Park, the Otavalo markets and beautiful Laguna de Cuicocha. We had a very pleasant night, with a delicious dinner and breakfast, and the host family was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.

Thank you so much to the lovely, kind people here. The room was spacious, very clean, and had lots of windows plus a balcony looking out at the lake and mountains. Breakfast was the best. I only wish there had been a heater for the night.
