We spent wonderful evenings chatting by the fire with Marco and Marta, who were so caring and adorable. It really felt like home away from home. Marta cooks so well that there’s no need to eat elsewhere! The place is also a nice base for visiting the lake and other nearby spots. We’d definitely come back.

Marco and Marta were friendly, answered all our questions, and made us feel very welcome. We were there as a couple and can highly recommend the place. The room was spotless and well equipped, and the view over Laguna San Pablo is lovely.

Being welcomed like family made our stay at hospedaje vertientes one of the highlights of our travels. The accommodation was beautiful and very clean, and we even got to cook an Ecuadorian meal with them. The Ecuadorian breakfast was amazing, too. If you’re after an authentic stay close to otavalo, this is the place. Thanks so much!

The owner makes you feel right at home in this welcoming, beautiful place. The lake view is magical, and the water park activities are only minutes away. It’s a great choice for a romantic getaway or a family outing.
