The old building is lovely, and the rooms are comfortable. The floors do creak, though! Staff were cheerful and helpful, and the restaurant is nice too, with a big pizza oven.

They were able to arrange breakfast early on the days we had to leave early, and the staff always had answers to our questions. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the driver and local guide they work with was the best. They can also pick you up at the Quito airport if you ask. Just a heads-up, they don’t provide shampoo. Our stay was in a cute, clean, safe place in a beautiful city.

I was so happy with my January 2025 stay that I chose this place again for my next trip. After being disappointed by another place in Otavalo, this felt like a gem. My room was comfortable for quiet time, and there were lots of shared spaces to spend time with other guests. The service was world class, with the staff’s sincere Ecuadorean hospitality and gentleness.

The food is a highlight, with fresh dishes you won’t find elsewhere in the area, and the pizza oven is a treasure. The hotel, courtyard, and rooms are lovely and very well kept, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Otavalo is a lovely base for trips around the region, with its famous market. I had a great stay here!
