The location was a great fit for us, quiet but right among the things to see and do in Otavalo. What really made me write this review was the service. The staff were kind and went out of their way to sort out all the transport we needed, and they responded quickly on Whatsapp. Every driver we had was punctual, professional, and kind. The room was fine, though it got a little warm. There was no temperature control, so we opened a window to cool it down. We noticed a few mold spots on the shower ceiling, but the room was generally clean.

The food caught our eye at this small-door restaurant very close to the Ponchos’ plaza, and we were lucky we found it. The staff were friendly and polite, and it’s pet friendly, with water provided for the animals. The tostado was really good, and the typical food was exquisite!

The staff were incredible, and everything else was great too. The rooms are nice and the location is wonderful. Try for one of the rooms by the courtyard, and grab something to eat at the restaurant next door with the same name. You won’t regret it!

The location worked great for us, and breakfast was good. The hotel is quite decorative, and the rooms were decent, though some of the windows wouldn’t lock.

Feeling safe and having privacy are what won me over here. It’s a very quiet, private place to stay, and the restaurant next door, Indio, is very good. The rooms feel dated and old-fashioned, with a very old box-style TV, but the WiFi is fast.
