My three-night reservation, made three months in advance, was canceled on the final afternoon. There are plenty of other places nearby, so be careful. If you don't want to gamble with your stay, don't book here.

It's tidy and clean, but the hot water they advertise is unreliable and only lukewarm at best. The rooms get very cold, too, since the insulation is poor and there's no heating. With cold days being common in the city, staying here wasn't very comfortable.

For what it costs, this is the best hotel in Quito.

Everything was good, and the service was excellent for such an affordable price. It's an older hostel, though, and very cold inside. The windows don't close tightly, so drafts come through. 🤝

The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's well placed for getting to different parts of the area. My only gripe was that the shower water wasn't very hot.
