It’s about 15 minutes from the city center, up in the north. The place itself felt clean, pleasant, and cozy, but a couple of things stood out. On the second morning, there was no coffee added to breakfast, and they asked for extra money to provide it. At checkout, they also charged $20 for laundry and only accepted cash. Those two situations made the stay feel different from other Airbnbs.

The room and bathroom were both spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. The rooms are simple, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They can order food from three restaurants, and there’s also a fully equipped kitchen on site. I stayed one night while visiting Chimborazo. The northern suburb location worked for me, though it isn’t great if you’re looking for things to walk to. I’d stay here again.

Elena, the hostess, was wonderful, and the breakfast was yummy. I loved the patio and terrace, both nice places to relax. It’s a beautiful B&B and makes a great home base for hiking and mountain climbing.

The rooms are clean and have the essentials, and it’s a nice hostel. Still, the value for the price could be better. There are places nearby with nicer surroundings, accommodation, and service for less. I’d suggest putting more drinking water in the rooms. Also, if guests say they’re arriving with a toddler, the cost of one breakfast could be included automatically.
