Río Napo Lodge

The excursions were organized really well by the excellent guide Jose, Osvaldo, and his lovely dog Selva. The facilities are welcoming, the people are very, very kind, and you're surrounded by nature. Such a beautiful place, highly recommended.

We especially loved the full day tour, which turned out to be a lovely surprise. We heard showers, but it was super interesting: we visited local communities, saw the effort women put into keeping traditions going, visited a laguna and rescue center, and made and ate our own chocolate. A great opportunity. Osvaldo and his wife were kind and helpful, and the place was very welcoming.

Mrs. Diana, who is in charge, was absolutely polite and helpful. The cabins are big, clean, and comfortable, with nice views in the middle of the rainforest. Breakfast was delicious and the service excellent. An amazing place to visit, highly recommended.

At night, the insects and frogs make an amazing chorus. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, with flowers and fruit trees, and there are two miradors with hammocks and tables where you can relax and look over the Napo River. Our cabin was very nice, with a mosquito net over the bed and screens on the windows. Breakfast was delicious. They were building a pool, so there was some construction noise, though it should be nice when it's finished. I really enjoyed the place.
