I spent about four days here at the end of November for an international course in Roosta. It’s a fantastic, inspiring place for events, fun, or a holiday, with the sea, forest, and snow all around. Getting there without a car isn’t easy, though. I have reduced mobility and felt very welcome. The training centre and restaurant are accessible, and the sauna has only one or two steps. Three cabins have accessible bathrooms. I shared cabin 24 with a friend, and it worked fine for the two of us. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was very good, with some vegetarian and vegan options, which was a plus. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

I loved the sandy beach, and the meals in the main cafeteria were excellent. The cozy cabins are scattered through the seaside forest, with separate bedrooms and living areas.

There’s plenty of parking beside each private house, and getting here by road is possible from several directions. The Haapsalu-Tallinn highway seems the best route for road quality. This is a pleasant holiday village with small private cabins, minigolf, a clean beach with a beach bar, saunas with baths, and guided adventure routes up above your head.
