The prices depend on what you're used to: it's much cheaper than Tallinn, though it may cost more than Narva. I’d still recommend coming for the atmosphere and the experience. It’s a small, cozy place with a home-cooked feel, and the food is tasty. Ljudmila is lovely and happy to share stories and information about the area.

The lake is impressively huge, and there’s a red sandstone outcrop right by its shore. We stopped at this little place nearby for coffee and onion and egg pastries. They were nice, and the patron was friendly.

Breakfast for four adults and three kids came to 80 euros, the biggest bill we managed to get there. The place itself is cosy and the food was great 🥘.

The local fish soup and cake were good, but the burger and fries were terrible. For that quality, the price was far too high.
