A secluded place by the lake, with a good sauna.

Everything else was great, and the place is beautiful and private. But there’s no running water, or even a garden washstand to pour water into. The owner brought water for drinking and cooking. For washing, the sauna, and the jacuzzi, we used lake water. There were five of us, pouring water over each other’s hands with a ladle until we watched a YouTube video and built a basic washstand ourselves. Washing the dishes turned into a whole saga.

The kitchen’s got everything, from dishes to spices, and the beds in the sleeping cabin were nicely made. Such a beautiful place, clean and cozy 😉.
