That family home ad has popped up on my Instagram probably 30 times this past year. I still don't really understand how the algorithm works, but I suppose I should visit one day. Cheers from Kazakhstan!

We were glad we picked this cozy, very nice place between two huge, generic hotel blocks. The rooms are cute, the staff are nice, and the atmosphere is excellent.

The air conditioner takes up much of the room, blows things off the table, and is too noisy to leave on at night, so sleeping was impossible. Dampness is everywhere, and water comes up from under the floor. The bathroom barely fits an average-sized man. The stairs to the sleeping area on the second level wobble, with a large crack in them, and anyone who isn't small should think twice about using them. The house is so tiny that three people won't fit, and the photos don't reflect what it's really like. The owner is also wildly inflating the price. For this little shed, 30 euros is the most I'd pay. Be very careful when booking this “little house.”

We stayed in the house for almost two months with our three children, and it was warm, roomy, and cozy. Everything we needed was there, and the owner was always available to help. Requests got quick replies, and we never had any misunderstandings. The stove was reliable and easy to use, and the children couldn't burn themselves on it, in case anyone is concerned about safety. Everything had been thought through. The kids loved the yard's playground, with a sandbox, swings, and playhouse. Barbecues are available for everyone, and there's a grill house in the yard. Nobody gets in anyone else's way. The sea and a forest with a trail and paved path are nearby. We really enjoyed it and will be back.
