Really nice!

A lovely, peaceful place where you can get away from the daily rush and stress.

The kids had plenty of room to run around the yard, play ball, and use the trampoline with their group. The cottage and its setting were both lovely, and it stayed quiet without bothersome neighbors. There's a small Co-op store four minutes away on foot, while Selver is about four minutes by car. We'd definitely come back.

We spent three winter nights here, from February 23, 2021 to February 26, with three people and our puppy. Irene met us when we arrived around 7:30 PM, walked us through the place, and explained how things worked. She lives in the large house on the same property. You can pay by bank transfer or in cash. The cottage felt warm and cozy throughout, with no drafts from the doors or windows. The puppy slept on the floor. There are two bedrooms, one with a large double bed and one with two single beds, plus a fold-out sofa and TV in the living room. The shower has heated flooring, and the electric sauna takes a couple of hours to heat. In the kitchenette, there's a kettle, ceramic stove, and toaster. The coffee press was broken, but Irene replaced it within a minute after we asked. Outside, there's a big lawn and parking beside the cottages. A few things could be improved. The water heater was just about enough for three of us to wash dishes and shower carefully, and might not manage four. It may need to be bigger or set to heat differently. We also saw ants and let the owner know. The shower could use a shelf since there's nowhere to put things on the slightly slanted sink. We sometimes ran short of dishes for three people, too. It left a good impression. The cottage is comfortable, warm, and nicely put together, and Irene is a friendly, pleasant host. 9/10
