Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa

The breakfast was incredible, and the location, service, and room were all good. The spa area, though, was disappointing. Even the pool in my small village has better saunas and pools. All the treatments were booked, and I hadn't known they needed to be reserved a week ahead.

We first came here on one of our early dates, then returned after our wedding with our witnesses and parents. We wanted them to enjoy the spa and spend some quality time together, and the hotel left a bottle of champagne in our room as a wedding greeting. Such a sweet touch. I've been to lots of spa retreats around Europe, and this hotel has an amazing sauna selection: regular, hot, mild, aroma, infrared, salt, and steam. There are several pools and an outdoor jacuzzi as well. The rooms are clean and cozy, and bathrobes are provided. Breakfast is insanely good, with a huge range of food and prosecco too. 100% recommend.

Our room was fine. We chose a larger one with an extra sofa. We've been coming to this spa center since it opened, and most things have usually been good. But on a Sunday in mid-February, it was far too crowded, probably because people were also coming in off the street. The changing room showers have been an issue on recent visits too, with some not working or giving only weak pressure. Dinner service was beyond criticism, and not in a good way. We booked for 21:00, ordered, then at 21:50 were told the kitchen needed another 50 minutes to get the food out. The same thing had happened once before within six months. Staff were unfriendly and very slow, and it felt as if they wanted us to cancel. Breakfast was crowded as well. No one cleared the tables, so guests did it themselves, while service remained very slow and reluctant. It wasn't good.

I'd happily return. The spa was clean, relaxing, and amazing, and breakfast had lots of fresh, delicious choices. Everything was nicely prepared and presented.
