Inge Villa

The rooms were very good, and the people were really nice.

A small, recently renovated hotel close to Pärnu beach. The beds were high quality, everything was clean, and the service was friendly and good. There’s air conditioning too.

The location was handy and peaceful, near the beach and Tervis Paradiis spa. It’s a small, clean, warm hotel with a villa feel, and there’s a bike rack in the yard where we could easily lock our rental bikes. We had a ground-floor room split into two parts, in keeping with the villa style. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, though their springs seemed to dip when getting in or out. They were two separate beds, and could be joined with cable ties we brought ourselves. In the other part of the room were a wardrobe with a safe, a fridge, sofa, small table, a slightly faulty floor lamp, a TV stand, and a very small TV. There were only four sockets spread around the apartment. The shower cubicle was tiny, just about big enough for a normally sized person. There was a lot of mold in the tile joints and corners, which made showering unpleasant, so we ended up using the spa facilities instead. We told the hotel staff right away, but nothing came of it. Housekeeping was also an issue. At check-in the countertop and bathroom drinking glasses were dirty. The room wasn’t cleaned at all the next day, and on the third day some towels were missing. It’s affordable and covers the basics, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

In small Pärnu, pretty much everything is close by, and this cozy little hotel is no exception. The rental bikes were conveniently brought right to the hotel. One curious detail: the owner is a well-known Finnish politician.
