Tervise Paradiis Spa Hotel & Water Park

I booked a package through a reseller for me and my two kids. After I checked in online, a sales representative contacted me and said I had to pay for the second child’s dinner because the package only covered dinner for two adults. Adult dinners cost 24, kids’ dinners 14. So it would be 48 for two adults, but 52 for one adult and two kids. That seems ridiculous for a huge hotel to ask from someone paying 250 for a one-night stay. They also wanted the full 14 euros for the child’s dinner. The issue wasn’t the 14 euros itself, but the approach and what felt like penny-pinching and greed. At first I thought they were charging for an extra bed. The whole conversation felt far from customer-oriented. The service seems poor, and I don’t think this place deserves its 4 stars. I cancelled and chose a better hotel.

First time here, and we liked it more than Viimsi spa in Talin. The slides in Talin are better for little kids, though. We’ll definitely come back.

The indoor water tubes and baths are good quality, though I’d like some of the baths to be hotter. The massages were really relaxing. From the 7th floor room window, you can see the sea.

The place felt neglected and unsafe, and the water park and sauna center aren’t worth the price. The men’s shower area had a strong, unpleasant smell right away. The water park’s main areas looked dirty, with chlorine stains on the walls, which suggested poor maintenance and ventilation. Boiling water scalded my leg in the salt sauna, a serious safety issue. In the Japanese bath, the chlorine was so strong I could barely breathe, which could be dangerous to health. One Finnish sauna also had a broken-off sitting bench, an obvious injury risk and a sign of a complete lack of technical oversight. I strongly don’t recommend this place.
