The restaurant food was outstanding, and the service was just as good. The cozy little hotel also has a nice mini spa. The restaurant could be cleaner, though. It wasn’t bad, but it needs some attention to match the quality of the food.

The restaurant is a highlight, with good food, a decent breakfast, and very friendly, quick staff. The building looks nice outside and has a pleasant lobby. Wi-Fi is decent, though it sometimes stalls during video calls. The rooms themselves are ugly and very small, with old radiators and an old bathroom. There’s no hairdryer, and the water pressure is very low early in the morning. We also had no hot water for a few hours, though it was fixed eventually. For the price, it’s okay. If you’re staying just a night or two and aren’t too fussy, you’ll probably manage. Taking everything into account, I’d put it at almost three stars.

The beds were comfortable, and the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant. Ten points from us! We did find it uncomfortable to keep the window closed because the room had continuous mandatory ventilation. When we opened it, cigarette smoke came in strongly from people smoking in front of the entrance. There was no air conditioning in the room, and the bathroom without ventilation wasn’t pleasant either.

The room was cold and had only towels, and the noise was too much. It felt like a two-star hotel. I said I’d see what breakfast was like, but the last night was the strangest part. Around 5 am, someone tried to open my door and couldn’t get in. At 8 am, I woke to the sound of a hammer, which was really loud. Then I went to the bathroom and found there was no water at all, hot or cold.
