The Wi-Fi worked well in the rooms and throughout the hotel, and there’s a parrot that kids may find interesting. The staff and rooms look old, though the rooms were clean, and the historic interior explains some of that. Overall, it was a good stay, but the whole complex needs renovation. You can use the spa and pool; the food was okay, but more choices would be welcome. The pool is small and old, but you can swim there. There’s a sauna too, very tiny, just enough for six or seven people.

I can’t recommend booking a room here. Before the trip, I couldn’t get answers to questions or reach anyone about a cancellation I requested more than three weeks in advance. Emails went unanswered. On the phone, they asked me to send the details on WhatsApp, which I did, but then they still didn’t reply.

The location is a bit outside Tallinn, and parking is limited. Breakfast was fine, and there’s a nice steam room by the pool. But the pool is meant for swimming laps, so it’s not much fun for little kids to play in. Our bungalow felt outdated and a little creepy. Getting there meant a long walk followed by a couple of precarious steps that looked more like a fire exit. I probably wouldn’t stay again.

I had a relaxing week here and thought it was very good value for money. The staff were helpful, and when there was a bathroom problem, they fixed it in no time. I also enjoyed the indoor pool, sauna, and hamam. The restaurant was good too. I’d recommend the hotel for a relaxing stay.
