The only decent things I found were a supermarket with takeaway nearby, good water pressure in the shower, okay satellite TV, enough storage, and plenty of electrical outlets. Everything else was awful. None of the three fire alarms worked, as the red light that should flash never did. There was smelly mold in the shower, and its floor had sand and something yellow and sticky on it. The toilet was dirty with urine and faeces stains, and there was no bathroom sink. The fridge had mold, the microwave was dirty, and the glasses, cups, plates, and cutlery looked like they came from a yard sale. Every surface was dirty. We bought alcohol wipes and cleaned everything ourselves, and every wipe came away black or dark. The floors were dirty, spider webs ran along ceilings and walls, and the bed linen and towels smelled bad, as if they'd only been washed in water. After a day, the smell was worse. The extra linen for the sofa bed also looked like it came from a yard sale, so we bought new linen at the supermarket. I worried about the risk of bed bugs if any guest brought them in. The place was old and run down, apart from some newer furniture. It had a Soviet 70s style, information in Russian or Estonian, cash-only payment, broken windows in the building, and patches of facade that had fallen away. The displayed photos must be old because they don't match what we found. I reported the hotel to the Health Board of Estonia. There are numerous reviews on booking.com describing the same disgusting problems.

Inside, the hotel feels quite modern, even though the outside doesn't make much of an impression. But our room had no windows that could be opened for ventilation, which was a serious problem. The staff only speak Russian, so communication was impossible for us.

The room had a kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave, and the cups and cutlery we needed. There’s also a well-stocked supermarket and a bus stop nearby, though the hotel is about 8 km from the centre, so getting there means taking the bus. Cleanliness was the biggest problem. There was dust under the beds, stains on the walls, buttons, and even the ceiling, plus spiders in the bathroom. The shower head was held together with tape, and the drain backed up so badly that water nearly reached the living room. The ventilation was poor and there was a bad smell. I don’t have high standards, but this didn’t feel comfortable. The fridge’s condenser kicked in about every ten minutes and made it hard to sleep. We could hear other guests coughing and doing personal business in nearby rooms, too. The beds were poor quality, with springs pressing into our backs. The interior felt dated, and having to arrange a meetup just to collect the keys was another inconvenience. If the rooms had been cleaner, I might have given it 3/5, though even that would be generous.

A waste of money. There was a strong sewer smell, lots of dust, and garbage and other mess left uncleaned. The soundproofing was awful, with traffic and neighbors making enough noise that it was hard to sleep. These are the worst apartments I've ever seen, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

There’s a supermarket nearby with delicious food, and the apartment has all the basics, including a fridge, microwave, electric kettle, plates, and knives. The furniture is all new, and there are an incredible number of TV channels. Very nice apartments.
