For what I paid, this was a very good stay, and I’d come back when traveling in the area. The hotel is right in the city center. My room was comfortable and clean, if a little dated, and breakfast was okay.

The mattress was comfortable, the room was clean, and the Wi-Fi worked really well. It was fine for a single night, but this is an old, very basic hotel. The walls are thin enough that I heard my neighbors, so I was glad I’d packed earplugs. I’d also brought shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was disappointing and only okay. It may not be worth paying for, though it was better than breakfast at many US chain hotels. Cold coffee is always a sad thing. With this location, I’m surprised the owners haven’t put money into making the place more charming and comfortable. A more memorable breakfast, in a good way, would help, and breakfast hours running until 10 am would be nice. I think there are better hotels nearby for a similar price.

The reception girls were always kind and helpful, and the hotel’s location is marvellous. We were there in winter at -18 C⁰, but the room stayed very warm and comfortable. It was large, with two separate beds, a wardrobe, fridge, TV, and an adjustable radiator. The bathroom was good, with adjustable floor heating. There’s also a lift, which matters when you’re carrying suitcases. The lobby was clean and comfortable, with an original design. I consider it one of the best hotels, and I don’t know why some comments were bad.

I stayed for two nights and enjoyed it. The hotel welcomes bicycles and is in a great location. Breakfast was good, and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

The location is good, but I was so disappointed by the state of this place. I spent 5 days here, and it was awful. I wouldn’t tell even my enemy to stay here. My room looked nice at first, but the condition was disgusting. There was a dead bug on the windowsill before I’d even opened the door. The bed was stiff, and the blanket inside the cover was yellow, even though white trim sewn onto the side showed it had once been white. The floor lamp shade was creased and broken, the bathroom door creaked and was broken, and the outside door didn’t work properly. The room was as cold as a Soviet-era prison. Outlets were exposed, and the wall lamps were switched on by a dangling cord, which isn’t good for parents with a little kid like me. The kids’ “travel bed” they let you use was awful and had no mattress. The blanket they supplied as one had a red stain on it. The interior needs serious attention and looks really disappointing. Charging 97€ for a room with 2 single beds feels insulting. The food, or lack of it, was a letdown too: no coffee, a few pieces of bread and a bit of porridge, plus 5 pieces of sausage and a handful of bacon that wasn’t properly cooked, almost like it had been boiled. And they call that breakfast? The kids’ highchair looked bad and straight out of Soviet times. At least put some money into the highchairs or breakfast area. The TV they call “flat screen” is a joke. They could at least screw it to the wall, or spend some money on a newer TV that shows HD instead of every pixel. This place needs renewing. Just BAD, and I’m disappointed by the experience. If you want a nicer hotel, you won’t get it here. 0 stars out of 5.
