Tehumardi Camping

The reception lady was very kind, and the whole camp felt clean, peaceful and beautiful. There’s loads of forest space, two lakes, one for swimming and another where you can feed the fish, plus two play areas for kids. The kitchens are fully equipped and there are lots of showers. A lovely spot for camping in an RV, tent or house. Recommended.

WiO burger next door is good, and it’s 20 mins by car to Kuressaare and 2 mins to the next coop (salema). There’s a lot of choice here, from tents and caravans to cottages and maybe one or two hotel rooms. The park sits among a small forest, with sunny and shady places, a well-equipped kitchen, a couple of playgrounds and plenty of grills you can take to your spot. Bring your own grill coal. The restrooms and showers are older and look a bit cheap, but they’re okay. There weren’t many sinks for everyone, and I didn’t see any soap during my couple of days here. There isn’t a good coastline nearby, though Mandjala beach is 6 mins away by car. Definitely a great place to stay.

There were plenty of shady spots under the trees to relax or get out of the sun, and we could borrow grilling equipment too. The showers were clean, the shared kitchen was well equipped, and Wi-Fi worked near the main building. We camped in our tent at Tehumardi Camping and had a wonderful stay. It’s quiet, surrounded by nature, and a lovely base for exploring Saaremaa Island. Everything felt arranged with campers’ comfort in mind. We’d definitely like to come back.

The toilets and showers were clean, and there was a kitchen for cooking as well as a place to wash dishes. We spent a couple of nights here with our camper. It’s a great, quiet place, and after traveling to lots of places in our camper, I’d really recommend this one.
