I had reserved a €15 hostel spot and messaged ahead to say I was cycling and interested in using the sauna. I couldn't pay in advance. On arrival, it took 20 minutes to find a receptionist, who didn't speak English. The sauna looked great and the rooms seemed nice, but they wanted €30 for the room and another €30 for the sauna. That sauna price would've been fine, but it wasn't what I'd booked, so I left and cycled through the rainy night. There's probably a reason this hotel has three stars on Google. I learned that the hard way.

We left at 4 a.m. because there was no way to sleep there. The nightclub in the same building hadn't been mentioned to us, and the noise carried loudly through the night. Our tiny room had no window or ventilation, so the air was awful, and the hostel smelled of old cigarettes and mold. The receptionist didn't speak English, and we couldn't find the showers. They accepted cash only and gave no receipt. Worst place I've stayed.
