Peetrimõisa Villa Hostel

The staff were great, and the hotel is in a pleasant, quiet location. Our room was spotless and in fairly good shape. Breakfast was fine on the first morning, but the same dishes came out the next day, and by day three some sides weren’t fresh anymore. Maybe that happens in the off-season. Once they changed the menu, breakfast was good again.

The service was friendly, and the hostel room was quiet, cheap, and very dark, which is handy if you need darkness to sleep. It’s nothing fancy, just a place to sleep. This is about the hostel, not the hotel. The bathroom is shared, and the toilet is in there too. After someone showers, the whole floor is wet, so you can’t use the toilet with dry feet. The bathroom looks old and worn and could use more regular, thorough cleaning.

The breakfast was okay, but the hostel rooms were awful. They were very cheap, yet some things just aren’t acceptable: the roof leaked and soaked our things overnight, empty beer bottles were beside the bed, there was a moldy smell everywhere, and the rooms were very hot. There were no mosquito nets, so we couldn’t open the window.

It was quiet, and the balcony was half-decent, but overall it was a poor choice. This isn’t a spa, just a higher-end motel. The shower room didn’t fully work, the TV only had three stations, and breakfast was too light. There were stains on the carpet.
