At Amon guest house, the owner was very nice and helpful. My room was comfortable and spacious, and the temples are only a 10-minute walk away.

Adil was so welcoming and generous. After I visited AS, he treated me to coffee and homemade sweets, and helped me arrange transport back to Aswan. I’d taken a taxi from Aswan to get there, but could have saved that money if I’d asked Adil first, tip! It’s an ideal overnight stop for Abu Simbel, about a 15-minute walk away, so you can easily get there early in the morning. The room was clean and spacious, with a nice hot shower. I loved my stay and only wish I’d had more time to swim in the river across from the hotel.

Right by the Lake, this is a great place to stay in Abu Simbel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with air conditioning. The owner will drive you to the temples, restaurants, transport and other places for free.

Adel was easygoing, very nice and always ready to help. He drove us to the temple and pointed us to good restaurants. For guests staying a few days, he also offers boat trips to visit several smaller temples.

The host greeted us when my wife and I arrived later in the day to see Abu simbel temple, and gave us water and a welcome drink. They were courteous and welcoming. The room has a kitchen and bathroom, two double beds and very strong A.C. They’re good people, and I’d stay here again.
