Stars Camp Oasis

The stars were so clear we could see the whole galaxy. After driving through the Black Desert, we reached the White Desert and slept in a clean, cosy little tent that stayed warm and comfortable. Muhammad was an amazing guide, and the trip was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. We set off into the desert at night, and the scene felt like Arabian nights from Aladdin. Mohammad cooked a delicious campfire meal, better than some fancy restaurant meals we’ve had. At sunrise we explored the White Desert and Black Desert, spotting rocks shaped like a rabbit, mushroom, chicken, camel, and even a sphinx. Back at Stars Camp, lunch was super yummy, and the base camp felt authentic, clean, and had a great toilet. An amazing experience, truly one of the best of our lives.

The desert sights made for an amazing introduction, and the accommodation at Stars Camp felt unique and special. The staff were welcoming and the food was lovely. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Mr. Lotfy made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our time away from Cairo. We had plenty of delicious food and never felt we were missing anything. It was my third visit to the White Desert, and this camp made it my best one so far. I’d gladly return.

The desert night was the highlight of my two weeks in Egypt. Wahid, the King of the Desert, prepared an absolutely delicious meal, and I’m so grateful to him for putting everything together. The drive through the Black Desert and White Desert, followed by a night under a sky full of stars, felt magical. The camp is lovely, and the staff are friendly and polite. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience in Egypt.
