Cherry Maryski Hotel

The location was excellent, the rooms were clean, and the sea view was great. Reception staff were friendly and polite, and room service was quick. The air conditioning was noisy.

The breakfast was good, and I had a good stay overall. The carpet on the floor was old. When they couldn't fix the Wi-Fi in my room, they moved me to another one, and the service was good.

Dinner was a huge disappointment. The grilled chicken arrived uncooked, with only the skin seeming edible, and the food in general was terrible in both quality and taste. The room felt gloomy because the lighting was poor, and the carpet was so dirty that walking on it barefoot was disgusting. It looked as if it hadn't been properly cleaned for a long time. The hotel needs a serious improvement in hygiene and service. I wouldn't recommend it.

The rooftop pool was clean and inviting, and the location made a convenient base for exploring Alexandria, with shops and amenities close by. The price felt fair, and the room was functional and clean enough, though nothing luxurious. The loud, constant air-conditioning noise made it hard to relax or sleep. There wasn't much of a view, just a blank stretch outside the window, and the smell from guests smoking in reception lingered whenever I came back in. Staff were helpful enough, but not especially warm. It was a practical stay with some clear drawbacks.
