What makes Tiba Hotel Aswan stand out is the hospitality. The staff are exceptionally friendly, attentive and eager to help, whether you need help with your bags, directions, transport or local recommendations. Their positive attitude and extra effort make a big difference, and the hotel offers good value for money in Aswan. The location is practical, with mini markets, small shops and everyday essentials within walking distance. It also works well as a base for seeing Aswan and the surrounding area. The rooms are simple and somewhat dated. They were generally clean, but may disappoint anyone looking for modern comfort or high-end amenities. The hotel is on a busy street, so traffic noise can be heard, especially at peak times. Still, the staff’s kindness, professionalism and helpfulness are what earn it a solid four-star rating.

We arrived around 10 am and were given a room straight away, with no problem checking in early. They even offered us breakfast, though it wasn’t included for our arrival day, which was a lovely gesture. The staff were friendly, and we had a peaceful, pleasant stay. The hotel is usually favored by Arabic-speaking guests. The rooms were clean but a bit old, and the furniture needs an upgrade.

The breakfast was incredible, almost enough to make me want to come back, and the Wi-Fi was okay. Still, I found the hotel definitely overpriced, and the reception experience was terrible. There was a lot of noise from outside, no toilet paper in the room, and a whole issue with the heater. At reception, they wanted payment in dollars and would only accept cash. Given the law about EGP, that seemed absurd. The woman at reception was awful.

It’s a nice place, and the staff are very friendly. It’s not far from the town center, and the prices are very affordable.
