The housekeeping team did a great job: our rooms were spotless, and the bathrooms were arranged with real care. The greenery around the property is beautiful, and the view is genuinely fantastic, so the place has a lovely setting and potential. But for our girls’ trip, the hospitality was disappointing from the start. Check-in took unnecessarily long, and the front desk gentleman was unwelcoming and inattentive. After a long day travelling, nobody offered us a seat, a welcome drink or even basic courtesy. Staff overall need serious training. We didn’t feel acknowledged or welcomed. It feels more like a 4 stars hotel than a 5🌟 one. The bartenders seemed inexperienced, and bar service was slow and unprofessional. Our in-room meal for two came on a poor tray with everything squeezed together, butter without bread, and stainless steel that clearly needed polishing. That’s far below what I’d expect from a 5🌟 hotel. Despite the nice surroundings, the lack of hospitality overshadowed the whole stay, and we simply didn’t feel welcome.

My guest said Mina was patient, always available, and made sure things went smoothly. He also appreciated the Guest Relations team, especially Ms. Asmaa, for her warm welcome, follow-up and attention to detail. She made him feel cared for and added a personal touch to the stay. Based on his feedback, I highly recommend Dusit Thani LakeView Cairo and will confidently keep suggesting it to guests travelling to Cairo.

I spent 5 days at Dusit on a business trip to Cairo and had a memorable stay. The restaurant was outclass, and I ate there almost every night. I especially enjoyed sitting outside with sheesha and food together. Breakfast was complimentary, amazing, and had a huge variety of fresh items. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a beautiful pool view from the Balcony. The staff were welcoming from the moment I arrived, and housekeeping and service stayed top notch throughout. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and great service. Looking forward to staying here again!

The concierge team were incredibly helpful throughout my stay, and I especially want to thank the manager, Mr. Ashraf Mahmoud. Their recommendations for nearby places and lounges were amazing, and I loved them. The hotel outlets I tried also had great food, a nice atmosphere and consistently good service. Dusit is in a perfect spot, close to everything in New Cairo, yet calm and relaxing once you’re inside. The rooms were clean, spacious and really comfortable. The doormen at the front entrance were always friendly and welcoming, and seeing them put me in a good mood every time I came or went. It was an easy, enjoyable stay, and I’d definitely come back.
