Golden Park Hotel

The lobby looks nice and smells good, and the people are nice. I heard it’s better than other places in this location. Still, the rooms weren’t clean, and there was hair stuck in the bathroom shower drains. Two stars is generous.

There was no water, toothbrush, or toothpaste in the room, and it wasn’t cleaned unless I asked. They cleaned every two days when requested. The toilet was very small and the staff were rude. I booked through booking dot com. The listing said 00 check-in, and I messaged to agree on check-in and check-out times, but that arrangement wasn’t available. I stayed five days and agreed to a 7 o’clock check-out for half price, but they kicked me out at 6. It was a very bad experience.

I stayed for 14 days on vacation in a queen bedroom. It was quiet and clean, and the reception staff were very nice. The breakfast wasn’t good, though, and the dining area was very dirty. I also had bad experiences with other employees. When I ordered food online, they stopped the driver from coming upstairs and brought the food up themselves. When I didn’t have exact change, an employee tried to keep the extra money without asking. On my first day, an employee knocked on my door and came in to ask for money, saying it was a tip for something he’d done. They ask for tips a lot and aren’t happy to help without them, even though tips aren’t obligatory for customers.
