The main problem came on the second day, when security wouldn’t let my food delivery person enter. Food deliveries had been allowed the day before. I went downstairs, and the discussion was still polite at first. Then a man claiming to be the Events / Halls Booking Manager showed up, raised his voice, spoke aggressively, and physically pushed me to stop me from entering. That was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. No internal policy excuses shouting, disrespect, or physical contact with a guest. The incident reflects very poorly on hotel management, and I won’t stay there again. I don’t recommend it to anyone expecting basic respect and professional treatment. I’d stayed two nights because we had an event in the hotel. I arrived around 4:00 PM. Reception staff were polite and respectful, and check-in went smoothly. The room was clean and acceptable, but it had no view.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and Ms. Eman, the events planner, is a lovely and very supportive person. I held my wedding in Verdi hall, and everyone loved it. The food was delicious, with enough for everyone.

At midnight, the cleaning staff were rolling plates around and making so much noise. It was a horrible place to stay, and I’ll never recommend it to international customers. The rooms are okay, but the plugs aren’t universal. When I asked for an adaptor, they told me to go to the market and get one. The land phone didn’t work either. The staff weren’t professional at all. This doesn’t feel like an international hotel, and it wasn’t worth the money.

I lived there for a month and had a great stay. The service was great, as was the housekeeping, especially cleaning lady Ms.Hela. Mohamed and Sharif were super friendly, and the receptionists were great too. It’s funny how many people there are called Mohamed and Ahmed.
