Happy Land Hotel

We were told there were no other rooms because the hotel was fully booked, even after we asked to move because of the serious problems. The room clearly hadn’t been checked before it was assigned to us, and repeatedly calling staff to address basic issues took over our vacation. I didn’t come to spend my time reporting things that should have been caught beforehand. The water heater leaked electricity, and we got shocked before we understood what was happening. That was dangerous and unacceptable. The bathroom walls had holes covered badly with paper towels, and there was a live spider in the bathroom, as if we were staying in its habitat. The door wouldn’t close properly, the wardrobe was damaged, and the air conditioner leaked until I reported it and they repaired it. The lack of maintenance and care for guest safety is far below a reasonable standard of hospitality. I expect this complaint to be taken seriously.

The only partial plus was being about a 10-minute walk from restaurants. Otherwise, it was the worst hotel stay of my life. The staff weren’t helpful, a bed frame fell on my head, and water leaked from the bathroom and front door of the room above. While we were out, cigarettes were thrown through our window. I added a photo.

The view was phenomenal, and the staff were very friendly. Special thanks to the chef for a delicious breakfast. But the room was a complete mess. There was dust everywhere, towels left by previous guests, dirty sheets, and hair all over. The bathroom smelled awful and was disgusting, and the flush didn’t work. They really need to improve their hygiene.

The staff were all polite, respectful, and so kind. Thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality. The location and views are amazing 🌊🤍🤍. The rooms are okay, nothing bad, but they need routine maintenance, especially the bathrooms, and the water pipes should be replaced. 🤍🤍🤍🙏🏻
