Jasmine Pension & Restaurant is a cozy, welcoming guesthouse in central Dahab, near the beach and easy to reach by taxi or with a short walk from the main street. It combines comfortable rooms with an on-site restaurant serving fresh local Egyptian food and international favorites for families, friends, or solo travelers. It’s a nice spot for enjoying Dahab’s turquoise water and laid-back feel. March to November is a good time to visit for warm weather, swimming, snorkeling, and exploring. Evenings at the restaurant have a relaxed atmosphere. Try the daily house specialties for regional flavors, with fresh juice or herbal tea. It’s popular, so booking ahead is recommended during peak tourist season. Sitting there over a freshly made meal with a gentle sea breeze gives you a sense of Dahab’s charm, with comfort, hospitality, and the laid-back Red Sea atmosphere. ⭐️ 4.6

The place was a mess, and they don’t change the sheets between guests. The bathrooms were terrible, and the person in charge was arrogant and kept playing music so loudly we could hear it through the walls. Nothing looked like the pictures they post. It was a very bad experience, not worth what I paid, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We came for a traditional Egyptian breakfast and it beat our expectations by miles. For a very good price, le70, we got eggs, foul, salad, and bread, plus mashed potato with herbs, grilled aubergine, cream cheese, spicy pepper, fried or breaded cauliflower, and falafel. There was another kind of salad and tahini/humous too. One of us didn’t want bread, so they brought chips instead. We were treated well and left full and satisfied. Best Egp breakfast in Dahab!

The rooms were awful, and the food didn’t come close to matching its price. The toilet smelled terrible and the flush didn’t work at all. When someone walked on the floor above, sand would shower from the ceiling into the room. The manager was extremely rude, ignored inquiries and complaints, and didn’t know how to handle guests professionally. A totally bad experience.

This is an expensive place, and the hosts seem focused on getting as much money from you as they can. They take you to package destinations around the area that feel inauthentic and overpriced. It’s also in the dull end of town, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
