SeaSun Hotel

What made the stay feel so smooth was the new administration. They were organized and attentive, and the staff I met were warm and helpful, even offering recommendations and making sure our needs were covered. I really appreciated their professionalism. Sea Sun Hotel Resort is right beside the sea, with lovely views and direct beach access. The whole visit was wonderful, whether you want to relax or get out and explore. I’d happily recommend it to anyone coming to Dahab, and I hope to return.

I spent one night there and it was a nightmare. The bed wasn't clean, and mosquitoes kept me awake the entire night. Pay a bit more for somewhere else or you may regret it from night one.

The breakfast and dining were served well, and I especially liked the carrot soup. The people were nice too, especially Hammad, he was the best. I got my room about 15 minutes after arriving, and it was very clean. After seven hours I noticed the AC wasn't working and there was a problem with the sink. I told the staff, and within a day they moved me to a better room with better AC and a better toilet. The hotel was fully booked, so they had to wait until a room became available. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews, this was my experience.

I stayed for four days on a student exchange trip with aiesec. The pool was more or less clean, but the sea by the hotel wasn't suitable for swimming, with quite a lot of pollution on the beach, including plastic and car tires. The hotel is about an hour's walk from town, and water costs a lot more there: 30 pounds at the hotel, 20 at the hotel pool bar, 5 in Cairo, and 10 in Dahab stores. The room was ready, but not properly clean. I found someone else's hair in the sink and bed, and the soap had already been opened. I could ask for free shampoo at reception. It could be a really nice place, but it feels somewhat run down and unhygienic.
