The staff are kind and do what they can to help. The hotel is handy if your work is at Damietta Port, since it’s close by, but that location mainly suits people working inside the port. It needs more maintenance and better equipment to meet hotel standards. Meals are fixed, with just one type depending on what the kitchen has available, and room service isn’t done every day.

The meal was a pleasant surprise, and the food alone would get four stars from me. The staff were very pleasant too. The place is a building site at the moment, though it must have been a nice hotel in its day. It looks like they’re trying to restore it, and if they succeed it could be a good stop for seafarers. We stopped there for a rest and something to eat on our way to work. The owner must know our travel agent!

The location is very good, right on the road by Domyat port. The room was clean, the reception was good, and the staff were friendly. A good place for the price.
