Life Resort Marsa Alam Beach & SPA

A lovely place to stay, with friendly people, tasty meals, and wonderful fish and corals.

Really good hotel.

I booked Life Resort Beach and Spa El Quseir and ended up at Coral Hills, a resort nightmare. The restaurant was incredibly dirty. I found a black hair at least 10 cm long in a sandwich and reported it to the waiter and manager. I think the frying oil hadn’t been changed in five years. The coffee machine and the table beneath it were filthy, and the outdoor tables had the same stains as the previous days. At the pool bar, the frying oil was black too, and staff were arguing. My room was no better. The sheets looked used, and the pillowcases had yellow stains. The room attendant said they were clean, so I had to call reception. I slept fully dressed for all eight nights. The refrigerator was in terrible condition: the door wouldn’t close, and one night a piece even came off. The “pub” was abandoned, with boxes and dust everywhere and a speaker thrown in the corner blaring music. The website lists four restaurants, Chinese, Indian, French, and Italian, but where are they? The indoor bar was mind-blowing, and that wasn’t even all. I have everything documented and will ask the travel agency for compensation for a ruined nine-day vacation. I couldn’t wait to get back to Italy. Don’t go there!

The best part was relaxing with the sea view, and we’ll miss this place. We visited Egypt in May and had a fantastic time at the hotel. The food was very good, and they always served cake or snacks at 12:00, along with drinks. The staff were very friendly. The only problem was the Wi-Fi: it worked at the main entrance but not in our room at all. I can’t help that, but I really enjoyed my time in Egypt. Best regards.
