Alba pyramids view inn

The view is nice, but there are plenty of other hotels around, so avoid this one. When it was time to pay, the price we'd been quoted went up by another 33$ in taxes that hadn't been disclosed beforehand. The room was okay, though dusty, and there was no soap in the bathroom. The old elevators rattled, and getting to the room required taking two of them. Only one had stairs you could use instead. We wanted to ask a few questions about the Pyramids the next day, but the manager was in Luxor and unavailable. The hotel was being run by two boys around 14-15 who didn't speak English, and they used Google Translate to ask if we had a reservation. After a back and forth through Google Translate, they contacted the manager by phone, but instead of answering my questions, he started trying to sell me tours. I really don't know how anyone could give this place more than one star.

Friendly staff and high quality breakfast. The view is perfect, enough to make up for all the bad things. I really recommend staying here.

The pyramids are visible from the rooms, which are nice and clean, just like the pictures. The service was welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and so was the owner.

You get an amazing view around sunset. The hotel is very new and clean, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it.
