Breakfast had plenty of variety, though it leaned more toward local tastes than international ones. It was served on a beautiful rooftop overlooking the Pyramids. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with toiletries provided; hot water, TV, and air conditioning all worked fine. We had trouble finding the hotel on Google Maps at first, but the receptionist sent the right link and helped us get there. We had a good experience.

The views from the rooftop face the Great Pyramid of Giza, and sunrise and sunset were unforgettable. The location really couldn't be better. The staff were lovely, friendly, and welcoming throughout, and made me feel comfortable and well looked after. This isn't a five-star luxury hotel for facilities or comfort, but for the price, the service, prime location, and incredible views make it excellent value. I'd recommend it to travellers looking for a memorable, authentic Giza experience. Special thanks to Silvia, Shaza ,Ahmet ,Mahmud Shif, Monh and Nada for making our stay so enjoyable.

The photos and reviews made this place look far better than it was. It’s listed on Booking as Comfort Giza View, but after this stay I won’t use Booking to find hotels again. We’d given the hotel our arrival time in advance, yet the room wasn’t ready. First they charged us more than $11 extra, claiming it was Booking fees and showing us some obscure PDF as proof. The first room had a tiny window facing vents and walls. Since it was getting late, we accepted the second room they showed us. It was shabby and short on towels, with no toilet paper. We’d just come from the desert and needed a shower, but there was no warm water, let alone hot water. When I tried to open the hot water vent, it fell off. We packed up and left, and reception refunded us. The place was being reconstructed, with confusing corridors that looked as if another structure was being built inside the existing one. I wouldn’t have known how to find my way out of that room. Maybe it’ll do if you need somewhere cheap, but be warned, the photos and reviews are very misleading.

We booked a “Deluxe room,” but what we got was nothing like the photos on Booking. It was dark, smelly, poorly kept, and most of all, dirty. Even though we were on the 7th floor, it felt like a basement. The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, and there was a big gap under the front door. The towels were wet, so we had to ask for replacements. The hair dryer cord looked taped together, and we didn’t dare use it. The hotel entrance looked like a construction site or a ruin, and only one of the three elevators worked. After hours of sightseeing, it wasn’t a pleasant place to come back to and relax. At checkout, the reception staff kept trying to get our phone so they could obtain a “code for check-out.” We later read in other reviews that this was meant to stop guests leaving negative reviews. One receptionist even held the elevator door open so we couldn’t leave. Booking should research places better and remove hotels like this from its app. The pictures and reviews are completely misleading.

The breakfast and restaurant were decent, with Egyptian dishes like salads, hard-boiled eggs, and local food. It’s different from a Western breakfast, but was prepared properly. The staff were friendly and well-meaning, though many are young and don’t always have the information or tools to help, so communication can be frustrating. The pyramid views are amazing, but the hotel feels like it was built in stages without a clear plan. Rooms are mid-to-low quality for the price, with dust under the bed, patched curtains, and basic bathroom finishes. The balcony glass door doesn’t seal, so traffic and constant honking come right in and make it hard to rest. We paid $50 USD for the driver. He gave us great suggestions for the Grand Egyptian Museum and dinner, which improved our experience, but the service was mostly drop-off and pick-up, without active waiting. There was pressure for an extra tip at the end, and the pricing felt unclear and expensive for what we got, not very professional by international standards. The website photos suggest a 5-star hotel, but that doesn’t match reality. Fine if the view is your priority, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you want peace and good value.
