That rooftop view of the pyramids is AWESOME. I stayed at the Crowne Pyramids Palace Inn in Giza, near Nameis Al Gazar, Zaghloul, and the team’s warmth and helpfulness really stood out. Everyone was friendly, well-mannered, and willing to go out of their way for us. Their prices were transparent and fair, with no overcharging, and the value felt great given the location near the Pyramids and the welcome we received. A few changes would make it even more comfortable. Softer mattresses would help after long sightseeing days, and more accessible wall plugs would make it easier to charge several devices. The shower could use better water pressure. The bathrooms also need better drainage or shower enclosures, since water gets all over the floor after a shower, a common problem in Egypt. Properly placed soap and toiletries holders would be a simple improvement too. The location and service were fantastic, and with these physical comforts improved, it would be a perfect stay. I highly recommend the inn.

The sunset behind the pyramids was magical, and the view from the rooftop, as well as from some rooms, was breathtaking. We were just steps from the Giza Pyramids, and from the moment we arrived everything exceeded our expectations.

The views of the pyramids from the terrace and rooftop were incredible, and the rooms were lovely and clean, with toiletries, tea and coffee, and a fridge. The hotel is family-run, and the staff did everything themselves and are doing really well. From the start, they told me to think of them as family or friends and to speak up if I needed anything. Ahmed, who runs the hotel with his brother, invited me to their family home for Iftar. I was travelling alone during Ramadan and wanted to learn about the culture and traditions. It was a lovely evening. I met the family, shared a wonderful meal, and got to experience Ramadan with a family instead of only as a tourist. The staff went above and beyond, suggesting things to do, arranging drivers and guides, and providing great food and company. I felt treated like family and had many conversations with most of the staff. They took a real interest in my life and told me about theirs too.

The food was delicious, breakfast was complete, and the room was stunning, with a view of the pyramids. We booked some tours directly through the hotel and they were ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. We’d already booked other tours beforehand, so only did a few with them. It really felt like a home away from home. Thank you for such an amazing experience. We’ll come back, hopefully soon! You can even watch TV with a millionaire view!

Crowne Pyramids Palace is more than a hotel, it’s an experience I won’t forget. I’d recommend it 100% to anyone visiting Cairo. We can’t wait to come back!
