Giza Pyramids Inn

The rooftop restaurant was a highlight, with sweeping views of the pyramids and the sphinx. The drinks were good, though the food could use improvement. We stayed three nights, and for the price it was a great experience. The staff were attentive, the room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and it had the basics we needed. There was one power cut, which wasn't the hotel's fault, and the minibar fridge was quietly replaced with a working one before we even reported the problem.

The reception team were polite and helpful, and housekeeping kept our room very clean throughout our three-night stay. We enjoyed breakfast with a wonderful view, too. I'd suggest staying for two or three nights. Beyond that, taxis can take up a lot of both your time and money. One thing to know: dinner reservations may be needed, since plenty of people who aren't staying at the hotel come for the view.

We paid nearly $200 for the suite with a jacuzzi and pyramid view, and it didn't deliver on either of its main selling points. The pyramid was nearby, but cables, AC units, and dirty windows got in the way of the view of it and the sphinx. There wasn't enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi, either. The room itself was dirty, with long black hairs in the bed and dusty shelf corners. I'd strongly suggest checking nearby options for better value if you can find one.

Traveling solo in Egypt for the first time, I felt comfortable at Giza Pyramids View Inn. The pyramids are very close, and the rooftop has the best views. Thanks for arranging the airport pickup. My room was clean, breakfast was good, and reception were very helpful. Five stars from me, and thanks for the assistance.
