The main hitch was that my room wasn’t available for the first two nights, so I’ve given the stay 4 out of 5. Otherwise, I had a great time. It’s close to all the pyramid activities, and the staff were friendly throughout. Special mention to Mostafa, who went above and beyond with food, directions, and whatever else I needed in an unfamiliar area. His service was 20 out of 10.

There were complaints at reception one after another, and the water was out for about a day. Don’t book their tours either. They’re overpriced, and the guide will take you to shops and claim they’re a museum. Unbook this hotel immediately.

The view is fantastic and the staff are friendly. It’s a brand new hotel, though, so some things aren’t fully up and running yet. There’s only one key per room, so you have to leave it at reception if you want housekeeping that day. The drains can be unreliable too. Breakfast switches between a set menu when there aren’t enough guests for a full hotel and a buffet when there are. I can see the place doing well over time.

The pyramid views are spectacular, and it’s worth paying extra for a room on that side. We arrived at the airport at 3 am, and the staff waited for us and gave us a free ride to the hotel. They were incredibly friendly, the rooms were clean and nice, and I felt safe during my stay. Breakfast was free too. The only downside is that the neighborhood didn’t look like the safest part of town. Still, I never felt unsafe and really enjoyed staying here. Highly recommended.

The apartment looked straight out at the Pyramids, and the location was great, but a speedway right in front made things noisy at morning and evening rush hour. Breakfast on the rooftop had a great view, though there wasn’t much choice. The staff were friendly and upgraded me from a regular room to a three-room apartment for $10/night more, which seemed like a very good deal. Sadly, it wasn’t very clean: there was hair on all the bed sheets in every room, and in the bathroom shower too.
