Sahure Pyramid View Inn

I’d give more than five stars if I could. Hatem made my stay outstanding by taking care of everything I asked for. Each day began with a personally served typical Egyptian breakfast and ended with tea at his lovely oasis. The tours were full of insight and exceeded what I expected. Recommended 120%.

Hattam was so attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. The place itself is a peaceful, beautiful oasis by the desert, away from Cairo and Giza’s crowds. The rooms are well appointed, with comfortable beds, and the breakfasts were superb, with small changes each day. Try the black honey and old cheese breakfast. I didn’t care for the old cheese, but I’m glad I tried it. I can only recommend this place.

The meals were delicious, some of the best food we had in Egypt. Hatem cooks at home with care, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all so good. He also arranges wonderful trips and can pick you up in the city. His guest house is calm and very clean, with a place to relax outside your apartment away from Cairo’s noise. You really can feel at home here. Hatem is one of the kindest people we’ve met, always smiling, cheerful, and ready to help. He’s the best host, and we’d never met anyone like him before. Bondo is the best dog, and there are cats too. If you want to rest and enjoy your stay in Cairo, come here. Highly recommend. Thank you, Hatem, for being so kind and putting so much love into this place.

The room was comfortable and clean, and Hatem made sure to take me to all the places I wanted to see. His hospitality and care with my requests were wonderful. The stay felt magical beside the Sahure Pyramid, especially at sunset. It was so quiet, like an oasis in the middle of Cairo’s madness.
