Bellagio Beach Resort & Spa

It’s our last day at Bellagio Beach Resort in Hurghada, and we’re really sad to leave. We’ve enjoyed every moment and wish we could stay longer. We’re in a premium suite, and it’s spacious, spotless and beautifully maintained, a huge upgrade from the old hotel we stayed at before. The staff are funny, welcoming and do their best to entertain guests and make everyone feel comfortable. There are activities outside the resort too, including snorkeling, quad biking, camel riding and trips to islands. We chose snorkeling and an island trip to Orange Bay, which was absolutely beautiful. We decided against riding camels because we felt sorry for them. We’re very happy with our stay and would recommend the resort to anyone visiting Hurghada.

Everything is modern, pretty and very well looked after, from the lobby’s lovely smell and beautiful reception furniture to the helpful, lovely reception staff. We got a sea-view room upgrade, and it was definitely worth it: the rooms are modern and spacious, with huge comfortable beds, a lovely big terrace or balcony, and large, well-lit bathrooms. The hair dryers are a bit meh, but they do the job. Food was fresh and delicious, with plenty to choose from at every meal, and the a la carte restaurants were very good too. Sweet Moments was my favorite, with its late opening and great selection of cakes and desserts. The gorgeous pool and beach areas have plenty of sun loungers, and there’s always something happening, from yoga and bachata to aquagym. The pools are heated to a very good temperature. I tried the Cleopatra hammam and massage package at the onsite spa, and it was well worth it. The sauna and steam room were amazing, and the massage therapists were incredible. The whole team, from reception and housekeeping to bartenders and waiters, did an immaculate job. I really can’t find any faults or anything to improve.

The kids’ club staff were lovely, and babysitting was available for €10/h. There were life jackets for children, too, so they could enjoy everything. The food was genuinely good quality, especially from my perspective after living in Egypt for 2 years, and breakfast included “fresh” juice. The entertainment schedule covered a whole month, so every day was different even for a 2-3 week stay. There were attractions throughout the day, including a sax player in the lobby. All the workers were kind and respectful, and engaging without bothering us. When we got sick and asked to move from a room right by the entertainment, they changed it at no charge, even though that location would normally be an advantage. This is the best all inclusive hotel experience I’ve had so far. Everything is nice without being too posh. 10/10, will be back.

The beach was a lovely spot to relax away from the daily entertainment, while still close enough to hear some music. I also joined the morning stretches, or yoga, which was a great way to start the day. We had a great 7 night stay at the Bellagio over New Years. The entertainment team made us feel welcome and included, and there were activities all day, from belly dancing and darts to bouncy castles for kids and adults, plus BBQ's. There was plenty going on. The staff were so attentive and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The hotel was clean and well looked after. Some works were going on, but they were discreet and didn’t get in the way. I’d recommend staying here! :)
